Posted by: Amr Abu-Hmeidan | 06/05/2006, 06:35Don't know how to start on this subject…but it's been bothering me for a while now… the day before yesterday I went with the guys to have a cup of coffee at a kiosk near the 7th. Circle…we at least do this once a week…we have a cup of coffee a little conversation and we head back home… but the thing that caught my eyes when we went there this time…Is the door of this low life night club "Nadee Laylee" across the street from our favorite kiosk… the scene of lots of women(actually whores) getting in that club… and how ordinary they looked… do you know why they looked ordinary…coz even good girls dress this way these days… and you cant tell a whore from a woman…it's sad but it's true…we couldn't even tell who is getting in and who is going to the supermarket next to it…
What our community is going through… shows how ignorant our people are …and when you ask someone you know why do you dress this way… the only answer you'll hear is "ya zalameh hay el moda"… it's neither in our traditions nor in our religion…add to that, that if you logically think of it… it won't make sense…really…it doesn’t add any freedom…and if you think it does…then you should also think that if someone goes down the streets naked then it's also ok… coz believe me that's what will happen in the near future…
Add to that this show I heard on amman FM…the show had an issue to discuss which was why women don’t wear skirts as they used to in the 70's (as if wearing skirts is the right thing to do)… and if the subject of the show made you sad wait till you hear people's opinions…I quote many of the girls who called and actually a guy also said that :"it's because if you walk in the street with a short skirt men with sick mentalities will stare at you and they may even whistle"… ahlain ya ba66a… sho sick hay…now if you want to show your body… you don’t want them to look???...wella bas la nas mo3ayyaneen el mawdoo3… you can't be selective about it…
And gurlz ….just to be clear on this… every man that sees the parts you show …gets turned on… some are sly enough to enjoy the scenery (without you noticing it ) and tell you that its ok and that's what freedom is,and you can dress the way you want… but others will be blunt and respectful enough to tell you "what the fuck are you wearing" use your brain and think before you go out next time … so all I want to say…is that the next time you gurlz go out…just before that …just take a look at the mirror…and look in a different way this time…don’t check if you're a heartbreaker… coz you're not supposed to be a heartbreaker walking the streets… just look and ask yourself…
If I'm really a Muslim, a Christian or even a Jew would I wear such clothes?
3amr!wow! jad a gr8 topic..wanna tell u sumthing..girls act according 2 guyz needz or 2 wut it would seem satisfying 4 them..bcuz they see how they go crazy when seeing such girlz on t.v or anywhere else..so the only idea would be, imitating them to get the same compliment or at least competing them..the problem z u guyz..bcuz most of u r contradicted..act in way,while the real u or the real principles is so much different..so the girlz just get lost between these two..
